Language & Literacy Narrative Reflection

While writing this piece of essay, I learn a lot about myself in general. For example, recognize the importance of language has played in my life. Started writing this topic, I have reflected on many memories of how each language have their meaning and standard in my life. Besides just understanding myself, I also learn to write a story using what I have experienced.

Looking back, I would change my writing process differently. Before writing either a draft or a final, I should brainstorm and write an outline with what I need to tell or write that is meaningful throughout my essay. Because when I start writing my literary narrative, I will need to think about many stories related to this topic, and it is where I spent most of the time. Therefore, it would be better to start brainstorming and have an outline to save up more time.

When I grade myself, it helped me to double-check my essay and see if I have complete the requirement or not. But when it comes to giving a grade on my written essay, it’s the taught part because my mind would begin to mix everything up. Later on, I would feel anxiety and feel like my essay was incomplete and didn’t meet the requirements.
